LIKE a sick joke, the killer turned Juneli Carig, 23, into a knife sharpener by letting a bladed weapon violently slide in and out of her soft body. As a grim finale, he left the dripping dagger stuck in the victim’s nape.
Carig, a Nursing graduate from the Far Eastern University, was also found with nine stab wounds 6:30 p.m. Tuesday by her brother Ely John inside her bedroom at 4245 Sunny Villas Condominium, East Fairview, Quezon City.
Investigator PO2 Loreto Tigno said Ely John noted that the victim’s room was in disarray. The victim’s mother, Nila, said two cellphones of Juneli were missing.
Tigno gathered that Juneli had been living for five years in the house with her mom and her brothers Ely John as well as Karl.
Initial investigation showed different members of the family left for different appointments Tuesday, leaving Juneli home alone.
